Four Lancaster wrestlers competed in the NYPHSAA Intersectional Wrestling Championships on Feb. 24 and 25 in Albany.

While Parker Rozler, Ryan Stencel and Mason Masterangelo all qualified by winning sectional titles, Joe Andreessen qualified for the meet as a wild card after finishing as the runner-up in the Section VI State Qualifier due to the strength of his regular-season resume. He did not disappoint, as he placed fifth in the 182-pound weight class. After losing his first match 4-2, he won three in a row and four of five to finish fifth.
