PORTVILLE — The Fredonia Hillbillies had a solid outing at the Portville Invitational wrestling tournament, placing sixth overall out of 16 other teams.

"It was a good day and it was good chance for the younger varsity guys to get some mat experience," Fredonia coach Joe Santilli said. "We got a lot of work ahead of us. We're a young team so we did a lot of good stuff and we got work ahead of us, but I see us evolving and we're heading in the right direction."
