July 08, 2018

Linebacker Nick Clark never played a down of regular season football for the Buffalo Bills, as his only action for the team was a minicamp tryout in 2012. But his passing through One Bills Drive during his life was not forgotten.

After trying out for the Bills, Troupsburg, New York's Nick Clark later went on to become a New York State trooper. On Monday (As reported by NYup.com), Clark was among law enforcement who responded to a report of a suicidal Corning man who had barricaded himself in his home. While responding, Clark was shot to death by the suspect, a public school principal in the Bradford Central School District who later took his own life. Clark was 29 years old.

On Friday, the Bills honored Clark by flying the flags along One Bills Drive at half-mast.
