Clarence's wrestling team went undefeated during its own annual Jon Vesper Memorial Duals Tournament Saturday, cruising to lopsided victories in all but one of those matches to finish the day 5-0 overall.

Clarence's wins included triumphs over Grand Island (52-29), St. Francis (62-18) and Amherst (59-16), each of which was ranked among the top 10 large schools in Western New York. Grand Island was actually ranked higher in the standings heading into the weekend than Clarence was, leaving coach Jason Chase to call his squad's performance - which also included a 54-30 win over Perry and a 43-39 conquest of Pittsford - "great."
