SALAMANCA — The Fredonia Hillbillies wrestling team took part in the Southern Tier Wrestling Officials Association Holiday Classic, on Saturday, at Salamanca high school. Despite traveling with a light roster, the Hillbillies found some success on the mats.

The 'Billies saw an impressive performance from eighth grader Lucas Hoffman, wrestling at 106 pounds. Hoffman was a finalist, eventually losing to David Ball of Gowanda by pinfall.
