Fulton wrestling falls to top-ranked Hilton

FULTON — Sixth state-ranked Fulton and top-ranked Hilton went back-and-forth in an intense dual at the Fulton War Memorial Friday evening, but the Cadets eventually squeezed out a 46-30 victory over the Raiders.

The dual kicked off 120 pounds where Fulton's Thomas Hughes squared off against defending state champion Greg Diakomihalis of Hilton. Diakomihalis proved to have too much offense over Hughes as he won 17-2 by technical fall at 5:14, giving the Cadets an early 5-0 lead in the process.
