Could there be one less weight class in high school wrestling come 2020? The NYSPHSAA is considering it.

The NYSPHSAA, the governing body for high school sports in New York state, began its annual central committee meeting Tuesday at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, and the elimination of the 99-pound weight class was one of the more significant discussion items.
