ALBANY — When Stevo Poulin steps on the wrestling mat, the Shenendehowa junior casts a much larger shadow than his 113-pound frame suggests.

Poulin's reputation precedes him, and many times his matches are decided before the opening whistle due to sheer intimidation. He's far better than most of his opponents, and they know it.

And so does Poulin.
