Williamsville North had not placed a wrestler at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Championships since 1989, but that changed this year.

At this past weekend's state meet at the Times Union Center in Albany, eighth-grader Cameron Catrabone took sixth in Division I at 120 pounds and junior Michael Catanzaro finished eighth in Division I at 126 pounds.
