March 14, 2020

USA Wrestling announced Friday it has postponed the U.S. Olympic trials scheduled for April 4-5 due to the "ever-changing impact" of coronavirus and out of concern for its athletes, fans and staff.

The national governing body came to the decision along with Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, the Bryce Jordan Center and U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee. The trials were scheduled to be held on Penn State's campus at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pennsylvania.

Organizers are working closely with local officials and health experts in hopes of rescheduling the event at the Bryce Jordan Center.
