Upstate New York Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame cancels 2020 induction ceremony

The Board of Directors of the Upstate New York Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame would like to announce that the 2020 Induction Ceremony scheduled for September 20, 2020 is canceled due to the concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of all the uncertainties surrounding the pandemic, the Board does not feel they can provide for the health and safety of all possible attendees and honorees. This year's class of inductees and honorees will be honored on September 19, 2021 at the Double Tree Hotel in East Syracuse, New York.

We will be privilege to at that time to recognized Mitch Clark, James Canfield, Eric D'Arcy, Mike Fusilli, Eric Romanino and Tom Shifflet with Lifetime Service Awards. Additionally, James Hughes will be presented the Medal of Courage and Timm Slade the Outstanding American Award. Marcia Albrecht will be presented the Chapter's Volunteer Award and Rob Centorani will be honored with the Stanbro Media Award. In addition, Mia Macaluso will be receiving the 2020 Tricia Saunders Award for New York State and Greg Diakomihalis, the Dave Schultz Award for the state. Greg and Anthony Noto will be given the Robert Feldmeier Outstanding Wrestler's Award for the 2019-20 season.
