RIT Places 6th in Empire Wrestling Championships
Brockport State Takes Home Title

ROCHESTER, NY -- The Brockport State wrestling claimed the 2004 Empire Conference Championship on Saturday at RIT.The Golden Eagles placed first our of six teams with a team score of 105 points. Brockport State's Tony D'Ambra earned Most Outstanding Wrestler honors while Don Murray of Brockport State earned Coach of the Year honors. The winners of each weight class automatically qualifies for the NCAA Division III Championships.

RIT placed sixth in this year's tournament, posting a team score of eight points. RIT 's Chad Sutliff (Linesville, PA) was an alternate selection to the 2004 NCAA Division III Championships hosted by Loras College.
