ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT wrestling team (4-11) was defeated by Brockport State (6-1), 37-9, in their last home match of the season. #Mike McInally (Bergen, NY/Byron-Bergen) and Brandon Thuotte (Danielson, CT/Pomfret Prep)# each picked up wins for the Tigers.

Senior #Mike McInally (Bergen, NY/Byron-Bergen)# won a close race against Brockport's James McCabe by decision, 6-4. McCabe led on two occasions before McInally stomped him out for good with a takedown towards the end of the third period. McInally is now 25-2 on the season.

Freshman #Brandon Thuotte (Danielson, CT/Pomfret Prep)# defeated Nicholas Falco of Brockport at 141 lbs. on a fall as Falco was pinned at 1:22.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, Feb. 5, as they travel to Berea, Ohio to compete in the John Summa Tournament.
