Duanesburg freestyle wrestler Nick Gwiazdowski's bid for the Tokyo Olympics ended on Saturday when he ran into a buzzsaw named Gable Steveson in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Fort Worth, Texas.

The night had a much happier ending for Shenendehowa graduate Jesse Porter, a Greco-Roman wrestler who won a championship in Fort Worth, though he has more to do to qualify for the Summer Games.
