#18 Ithaca Wrestling Team Beats #14 Oswego

ITHACA, N.Y. - The 18th-ranked wrestling team (1-1) earned its first victory of the season with a 21-18 win over 14th-ranked Oswego. Third-ranked Matthias Keib (G. Ray Bodley/Fulton) earned his second fall of the year at 4:34 over Craig Becker at 174. Sixth-ranked Nick Calandrino (Emerson/Emerson, N.J.) at 197 clinched the match with a decision over Matt Grough.

Also recording wins for the Bombers were Scott D'Annunzio (Great Valley/Malvern, Pa.) (6-4) at 141, Jad Duca (South Brunswick/Monmouth Junction, N.J.) (6-2) at 157, Brian Lockard (Upper Dublin/Dresher, Pa.) (2-0) at 165 and Rob Stubbs (MacArthur/Levittown) (10-0) at 184.

The Bombers are idle until January 6, when they travel to Williams for a double-dual match against Simpson and Muhlenberg, followed the next day by the Williams Invitational.
