Carl J. McMaster, 87, of Walnutport Pa., formerly of Pike, passed away November 25, 2021 at home.

Carl was born on Sept. 14, 1934 in Rochester, to the late Kenneth and Alvina Clute McMaster. He was a graduate of Letchworth Central School. Carl was part of the class of 1951 Letchworth wrestling team, the first ever undefeated there and was later inducted into the Livingston County Wrestling Hall of Fame in January 2012. After high school Carl served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1958. He attended Kings College where he graduated with a teaching degree in Physical Education in 1969. Carl then went on to teach Physical Education at Letchworth Central School from 1969 to 1982. He then worked at Southview Farms from 1983 to 1996.

Carl was a longtime member of the Castile Baptist Church and ran the church's softball team for over 20 years. He was part of the Boys Brigade in Varysburg, NY. He enjoyed volunteering, working with kids, and line and square dancing. Carl loved his family and Jesus.

Carl is predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Robyn Ottley McMaster, who passed away in 2016.

Surviving are his children, Scott (Tracy) McMaster of Corfu, Kristin (Michael) Everett of Walnutport, Pa., Sean McMaster of Dunkirk; grandchildren, Kenneth McMaster, Jonathan McMaster, Anthony McMaster, Nathan McMaster, Nicholas Everett.

Friends may call Saturday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Robinson And Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw, where Carl's funeral service will be held immediately after at 12 p.m. Burial will be in East Koy Cemetery, Pike.
