Long Awaited ECIC Wrestling Dual Meet Title Returns to Starpoint

For the first time since the 2016-2017 season, the Starpoint Spartans claimed the outright ECIC II dual meet title on Wednesday at home capping off a perfect 6-0 league dual meet record this season. The WNY #2 ranked Spartans captured the team?s third victory over the small school #5 Iroquois Chiefs, 49-15, of the season to finish in sole possession of first place in ECIC II. The 2021-2022 league title is only the seventh in the history of the Spartans wrestling program.
