BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo wrestling team is back in action on Saturday with another tough test. The Bulls are competing at WrangleMania in Bethlehem, PA against #20 Oklahoma and LIU.

The Bulls were last in action at the Battle in the River City last Saturday. UB went 1-2 with a 21-9 win over Chattanooga and losses to nationally ranked Wisconsin and Campbell. Featuring a young lineup, the Bulls wrestled hard and showed promise.

Jay Nivison earned a 3-1 decision over Wisconsin's James Rowley in the 174-pound match. Nivison is ranked 27th in the latest InterMat rankings.

This week the Bulls will face off against Oklahoma for the third time in program history. The Sooners have won both meetings, including the last dual in 2010.

Oklahoma has six wrestlers in the national rankings. Joey Prata (125) is ranked 14th, Wyatt Henson (133) is ranked 20th, Mitch Moore (149) is ranked 16th, Gerrit Nijenhuis (165) is ranked 22nd, Keegan Moore (197) is ranked 21st and Josh Heindselman (285) is ranked 17th.

This will be Buffalo's third meeting with LIU. The Bulls won the previous two meetings, including a 27-6 victory last season.

Action will start at 1 pm against Oklahoma followed by LIU at 3:00 pm.
