Bulls Host Binghamton in Home Opener on Sunday

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo wrestling team will host Binghamton on Sunday at Alumni Arena beginning at 7 pm.

Both teams have had very difficult schedules to start the season.

The Bulls are 2-5 to start the year, which includes duals against four Top 25 programs. Binghamton is 0-3 on the year with two of its duals against nationally ranked programs as well.

Buffalo has three wrestlers in the rankings, including Michael Petite (157) ranked 23rd, Giuseppe Hoose (184) ranked 25th and Jay Nivison (174) ranked 28th.

Binghamton has two nationally ranked wrestlers. Lou DePrez is ranked 7th at 197 and Jacob Nolan is ranked 19th at 184.

This will be the 35the meeting between the schools. UB leads the all-time series 24-9. The Bulls won the last meeting, 17-16, at Binghamton last season.
