ROCHESTER, N.Y. - RIT senior Colby Giroux and sophomore Josh Harkless at this weekend's NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships in Virginia.

Giroux, who won the 184-lb. weight class at the NCAA Mideast Regional two weekends ago, finished sixth in the class this weekend. Seeded seventh, Giroux defeated University of Wisconsin-La Crosse's Kalyn Jahn by a 3-2 decision before falling to two-seeded Shane Liegel of Loras College by decision, 9-7. Giroux then won his next two matches before falling to Luther College's Donovan Corn and Coast Guard's David McCullough to end the tournament 3-3.

Harkless finished eighth in the 197-lb. weight class. Qualifying by finishing third in the 197-lb weight class at the Mideast Championship to earn his second straight trip to the NCAA Championships, Harkless lost to top-seeded Coast Guard athlete Coy Spooner to open the tournament with a 6-0 decision. Harkless then pinned Ferrum's Braden Homsey and beat seventh-seeded Camden Farrow from York by 7-2 decision to advance through the consolation bracket. Harkless ended his tournament by falling to three-seed Doug Byrne and five-seed Beau Yineman, both by decision.
