No. 22 Elmira Women's Wrestling Goes 2-1 in Dual Competition at Adrian College

ADRIAN, MICH. - A 30-19 dual victory against No. 17 Tiffin University highlighted the day for the No. 22 Elmira College women's wrestling program at the Adrian College Duals as the Soaring Eagles went 2-1 overall while also recording a 30-19 victory against Hiram College.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

In its dual victory over the Dragons from Tiffin, the Purple & Gold would receive a fall from Gabby Bradigan '26 in a time of 2:13 at 130 pounds, while also getting a fall from Leslie Monterrosa '24 in a time of 3:39 at 143 pounds.

Zoey Lints '27 and Skylah Chakouian '25 would also notch victories via fall for the Soaring Eagles as Lints needed just 37 seconds to secure a victory at 155 pounds, while Chakouian bumped up to 170 pounds and took just 46 seconds to pin her opponent.

Megan Edwards '27 recorded a victory via forfeit at 123 pounds for Elmira, while Hazel Dahlquist '25 notched a forfeit victory for the Purple & Gold at 191 pounds.

For a second consecutive year at the Adrian Duals, it would be the Indiana Tech Warriors who would come out victorious against the Soaring Eagles in dual competition. Elmira battled with Edwards recording a fall at 123 pounds, while Chakouian notched a fall of her own at 155 pounds. Bradigan scored the other point for the Purple & Gold at 130 pounds after dropping a 14-4 tech fall.

The Soaring Eagles added a dual matchup against the Hiram College Terriers and improved to 3-0 all-time in the head-to-head matchup following a 30-19 victory on Saturday. There were no individual results provided as of late Saturday through Trackwrestling.

UP NEXT: The Soaring Eagles return to the mat inside the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center on Sunday morning for the Adrian College Women's Invitational. Action is set to get underway at 10:00 A.M.
