PISCATAWAY, NJ - The University at Buffalo wrestling team faced its toughest test of the season on Sunday, falling at 13th-ranked Rutgers, 40-0. Seven of the ten Rutgers starters were nationally ranked.

While the result looked lopsided, the Bulls did drop some close decisions.

Nick Stampoulos lost a 2-1 decision to Michael Cetta at 149 and Hunter Shaut dropped a 2-1 decision to #25 Anthony White at 165.

Jordan Reyes (125) and Jay Nivison (174) also battled, but lost decisions for the Bulls.

"Today was a tough day," head coach John Stutzman said." We need to continue working and building off the successes we have had."
