Panthers win their own tourney; Coleman named MOW

PORTVILLE - The Portville wrestling team won its own tournament, topping a field of 11 teams at the Portville Invitational on Saturday.
The Panthers 252 points put them far ahead of runner-up Frewsburg (168.5) and third-place Wellsville (154). Portville placed 11 wrestlers in the top four in their weight classes, including four champions, led by most outstanding wrestler Ethan Coleman. Coleman, a senior from Cuba-Rushford who wrestles for the Panthers, finished off his perfect day with a 57-second pin of Gowanda?s Nathan Warrior in the 145-pound championship.
