WATERLOO - It takes a special skill set to be Tyrone Thomas. The longtime Waterloo head coach has already stepped away from the Tigers' football and boys lacrosse teams and now at the end of this current 2023-24 season, he will officially retire as the head wrestling coach as well.

On Wednesday evening, Thomas' Tigers hosted the final home match of his tenure. A match against Waterloo's biggest rival in all athletics and an opponent Thomas' teams have faced many times across all sports: Mynderse Academy.
