January 29, 2024

SYRACUSE - Prior to this past weekend, Dundee Central School had never had an individual state champion. Star ninth-grade wrestler Peyton Mullin made that no longer the case, capturing the school's first state title.

Mullin won the state crown at Friday's New York State Public High School Athletic Association girls wrestling tournament in the 235-pound division at the SRC Arena & Events Center, which is on the campus of Onondaga Community College.
