Bolivar-Richburg's great season didn't start out the way the Wolverines hoped. A number of injuries in the team led to the Wolverines dropping each of their first two matches and finishing with a 1-6 record at their first tournament of the year.

But since the injuries have healed, B-R won each of their last five matches, took third at the Hornell Tournament and second at the Section 5 Class B3 tournament.
