Southwestern, Chautauqua Lake Qualify Four for State Wrestling Tournament; Section VI Division II Championships Roundup

The Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association (CCAA) Division I league will be represented at the upcoming NYSPHSAA Federation Championships, Feb. 23-24, at MVP Arena in downtown Albany as ten wrestlers representing four of the league's seven teams earned advancement to the state tournament at Saturday's Section VI Division II Championships.

Southwestern led the field of thirty-two teams from Section VI schools with BEDS numbers of 599 and less with three individual title winners with one wrestler earning a state qualification by way of his runner-up finish. Section VI dual meet champion Chautauqua Lake crowned one champion in defending NYS champion Jordan Joslyn at 138-pounds while three more Eagles wrestled to runner-up place finishes.
