Nine wrestlers still have a shot at winning a state championship.

After entering with 25 total wrestlers from the Greater Niagara region, nine advanced to Saturday?s semifinals after the first day of the 61st NYSPHSAA wrestling championships concluded Friday night at MVP Arena.
