B-R's MacDonell places fourth, Allen finishes 1-2 at states

ALBANY - Bolivar-Richburg's Tavyn MacDonell finished his junior wrestling season on the state podium, placing fourth on Saturday.
MacDonell, the No. 2 seed at 170 pounds, had won his first two matches on Friday at the NYSPHSAA Div. II championships at MVP Arena. On Sunday, he went 1-2, exiting the championship bracket with a 13-4 major decision to Charles Foster, the No. 3 seed, of Vernon-Verona-Sherrill in the semifinals.
