Akron Tigers
 The Akron Varsity Wrestling Team traveled to the Holley Team Tournament Saturday. The team went 5-0 beating the Holley Hawks 63-24 in the championship round to win the tournament. Akron started the day by defeating the Holley B team 90-0, then defeating Eastridge 75-6, Red Jacket 78-4, and Canisius 72-9. Akron won 64 of 75 matches on the day and recorded 37 pins as well. 11 Wrestlers made the All-Tournament team (Thomas Fischer, Johnny Fiebelkorn, Robbie PeQueen, Matt Fiebelkorn, Jared Siska, Ethan PeQueen, Garrett Schultz, Jordan Truglio, Adrian Ross, Joey Sarow, and David Case) and had two wrestlers go 5-0 recording 5 pins, Matt Fiebelkorn & Garrett Schultz. Schultz did not have a point scored on him on the day. Joey Sarow was named the tournaments Most Outstanding Wrestler for his performance on the day. Photo provided by Joey Suhr.
