Rochester Mat Men Have Edge on Windy City TAKE MAJORITY OF MATCHES IN NIAGARA DISTRICT A.A.U. DISTRICT TITLE BOUTS. The Amateur Athletic union championships in wrestling were run off at the Central Y.M.C.A. last night before a good-sized crowd. The winners of these bouts are champions of the Niagara District for the coming year. Due to injuries many of the Rochester grapplers were not able to compete and this took much color from the exhibition. Hoffman, Rochester man who is champion in the 135-pound class, was forced to forfeit his honors because of an injured leg. The same thing occurred in the case of Schulthiers, another A.A.U. champion.
