Joye 3rd at MoVal
New York (Section V) native Joye Levendusky of McKendree University took 3rd at the Missouri Valley Open Sunday, going 6-1 in a field of 47 loaded with top college and senior level athletes. Her only loss was 7-2 to eventual champ Kayla Marano of Emmanuel. Marano is the daughter of Kristie Marano-Davis, the most decorated U.S. female wrestler in the history of women�s wrestling. Levendusky, a 2018 grad of Avon, was the #1 seed beginning the day. She beat three All-Americans en route to her bronze finish. Provided by Derek Levendusky. Click for larger image. [MORE PICS]
