Wrestling remains one of the most popular winter high school sports, despite the recent indignation of having to fight with bureaucrats to keep it as a summer Olympic event.

That the International Olympic Committee had considered eliminating wrestling upset fans throughout Western New York, including national Hall of Fame wrestling coach Dick Lang of Royalton. Thankfully, the worst did not come to pass.
