Williamsville South wrestler Genau places fifth at state meet

Matt Genau was hopeful that he could finish his high school wrestling career by placing at the state meet, and that is exactly what he did.
The Williamsville South senior placed fifth at 120 pounds at the New York State Championships Saturday at the Times Union Center in Albany. He is the first South wrestler to place at the state meet since Anthony Liberatore took fifth at 182 pounds in 2013.
