ALBANY - Greg Diakomihalis, a lightweight wrestler at Hilton made it three-for-three at the high school state tournament.

Diakomihalis won his third New York State Public High School Athletic Association state crown in his third varsity season, after repeating as the Division I 113-pound champion.

A sophomore at Hilton, Diakomihalis defeated Dylan Ryder, a 2017 state champion at Half Hollow Hills West, by riding out the Long Island-based wrestler in the ultimate tiebreaker. Diakomihalis sailed through this winter, finishing with a record of 43-0, his last the most challenging.
