CANANDAIGUA — There is something to be said for standing your ground against tough odds. The South Seneca wrestling team did not take first place, but the team did lead all local Wayne-Finger Lakes league squads over the weekend in the Robert Bradshaw Invitational at Canandaigua Academy.

South Seneca accounted for a team total 104 points to finish in eighth place on Saturday. Webster Thomas took top team honors with a 294 team score.
