The Hilton Cadets came close Saturday, one victory away from being able to call themselves the best high school wrestling team in the state, but their run was spoiled by a squad from Long Island.

Massapequa of Section VIII, defeated Hilton 41-29 during the Division I or large schools final of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Dual Meet Championships at Onondaga County Community College.
