SYRACUSE — Canisteo-Greenwood represented the program and Steuben County well once again at the SRC Arena in Syracuse for the second annual NYSPHSAA Dual Meet State Wrestling Championships.

The Redskins started the day with a 43-37 win over No. 3 Peru in the first round. In Round 2, Canisteo-Greenwood fell to Central Valley Academy, 47-30, to bring their championship hopes to an end. Central Valley Academy went on to advance all the way to the Division II state finals, dropping a tight 37-34 decision to Mount Sinai.
