Third place finishes by Medina's Colby Petrie (126) and the Lyndonville duo of Chase Stinson (126) and Mario Fidanza (220) were the top performances by local wrestlers at this weekend's sectional championships.

In the Section VI Division 2 (small schools) championships at Lake Shore, Petrie rebounded from a narrow 5-4 semifinal loss to earn third place honors with a pair of decision wins, including a narrow 2-1 victory in the bout for third and fourth place.
