1965-1966 Honeoye Falls Hornets
WRESTLING. Mr. Brown coached the Varsity Wrestling Team to another winning season. Led by co-captains Jack Schirer and Tim Lewis, the team compiled an 8-7 record, many of the matches being against city schools. The team placed second in the Monroe County Class B Tournament, with four champions: Jack Schirer, Tim Lewis, Richard Price, and Dave Milne. Jack wrestled his way to the Section V Finals, losing 4-0 in his final match, Jack compiled an excellent record, second only to Terry Habecker's. The school is very proud of him. Mr. Shapiro offered his time and assistance to the junior Varsity Wrestling Team. SOURCE: 1966 Hornet.
