Campers
Eight Lyndonville Wrestlers attended the Penn State University Wrestling Camp in July. They were accompanied by coaches Joe Suhr and James Zeliff. The camp was a 4 day team camp that included instruction from the Penn St staff and wrestlers of the NCAA team champions for 8 of the last 9 seasons including 2018-19 and some competition. They recieved instruction from Olympic Gold Medalists Jake Varner and Cael Sanderson, the head coach at Penn St and only wrestler ever to go undefeated in his collegiate career. They also were instructed by NCAA Champions Vincenzo Joseph, Jason Nolf, Mark Hall, and Anthony Cassar. The camp was amazing and the wrestlers learned a ton of new things as well as getting to compete against top teams from all over the United States. The wrestlers enjoyed the opportunity and progressed throughout the camp. It was really a special experience.
