In 1983, Brad Paddock won the 167-pound Livingston County wrestling title during his years at Perry High School. Over the next 30-plus years he built one of the nation's top, most-respected wrestling programs - Team X.

He owned and operated the family business, Paddock's Breeding Service & Dairy Supplies, LLC, which was founded by his father, Roger. At around 4:20 a.m. Tuesday, Paddock passed away, just three weeks after being admitted to Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester.
