The Lockport wrestling Lions benefitted from seven Lewiston-Porter forfeits on Wednesday en route to a 54-25 Niagara Frontier League wrestling victory over the visiting Lancers.

The Lions' win sets the stage for next week's showdown for first place in the league when fellow-unbeaten Niagara-Wheatfield comes to Lockport for a match at 5 p.m. Tuesday. The Falcons routed North Tonawanda on Wednesday, 66-4.
