When you hear Penfield's Frankie Gissendanner talk about his plans, he might sound over confident.

But when you see the sophomore wrestler's résumé, anything seems possible.

"Not with the good ones, (is such high confidence a negative),'' Penfield coach John Leone said. "He's been an incredible leader. His drive and determination has pushed other wrestlers.

Gissendanner and three-time state champion Yianni Diakomihalis, a junior at Hilton, are at the front of the Section V team of wrestlers who have worked to realize a dream of becoming a high school state champion this weekend in downtown Albany.
