No wrestler in South Seneca had won a New York State Section V championship since 1988. Well, it's time to update those history books.

South Seneca junior Adam Wagner won the Section V 138-pound title, and senior Luke MacIntosh won the Section V 195-pound title. Both wrestlers will now try their luck at brining home a state championship at the New York State Championships on February 27 and February 28.

For Wagner, the junior is 164-43 for his career, but this season has been is breakout year with a record of 40-1.
