ALBANY - Of the six Section III wrestlers who were crowned champions Saturday night, Alex Herringshaw will be the one most remembered by the Times Union Center crowd.
Sure, part of it is that Herringshaw, a senior from Holland Patent, won his third consecutive New York State Public High School Athletic Association championship. He did it in emphatic fashion, pinning Lyle Grant of Alden (Section VI) with 59 seconds remaining in the 170-pound Division II final.
