Eight local wrestlers entered the evening with a chance to win a state title Saturday at the state championships at Albany's Times Union Center. Five came away with that distinction. So did the entire Adirondack team.
Holland Patent's duo of Hunter Richard and Alex Herringshaw each won Division II state titles - again. For Richard, it was his second title. It was Herringshaw's third.
"This is definitely special," Richard said. "It's an accomplishment for us and the program."
