NEW YORK — College wrestling's number crunchers figured it would take a Penn State slip and a near-flawless performance by another contender to stir up suspense in the title chase at the NCAA Championships.

The only uncertainty left now is who will fit where in the standings behind the Nittany Lions.

Penn State navigated through the tournament's second day without hitting any potholes and all but put its prints on the title trophy for the fifth time in six years.
