ITHACA, NY - The RIT wrestling team placed 14th out of 27 teams at the 2016 New York State Intercollegiate Wrestling Championship, hosted by Cornell University on Sunday, Nov. 20. The Tigers were sixth out of all Division III participants, as all New York schools from Division I, Division III, and junior colleges compete.
RIT finished with 24 team points, as host Cornell was victorious with 155 points. The University of Buffalo was second with 132 points. Ithaca was the top Division III school, placing fifth with 91 points. RIT was sixth overall on the afternoon with 12 wins via pin.
