Clarence's wrestling team ended its lengthy — by the Red Devils' standards — tournament-title drought this past weekend after going undefeated en route to capturing the Tonawanda Team Duals title for their first tournament championship in a couple of years.
Coach Jason Chase said that winning the tournament title was one of Clarence's goals heading into Friday's opening day of competition — having six grapplers go undefeated was the other — so, to do so "was a really nice way for us to start the season."
